Overview of Vijaya Bank

Vijaya Bank was founded on 23.10.1931 by late Shri A.B.Shetty and other enterprising farmers in Mangalore, Karnataka with an objective to promote banking habit, thrift and entrepreneurship among the farming community of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka. As it was established on the auspicious Vijayadashami Day, it was named "Vijaya Bank". It has its corporate office in Bangalore, Karnataka. Nine smaller banks merged with it during the 1963-68. It was nationalised on 15.04.1980. It operates with a network of 2030 branches, 13 Extension Counters and 1865 ATMs as on 31.12.2016.

Vijaya Bank offers a wide range of financial products and services to the customers through its various delivery channels.     Vijaya Bank Global Debit Cum ATM Card

    Vijaya Global Debit Cum ATM Card is the VISA International Debit Card issued by our Bank to its account holders for using it at Merchant Establishments and at Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). The Vijaya Global Debit cum ATM card has been launched in association with VISA International. The Vijaya Global Debit cum ATM card can be used at all Vijaya Bank ATMs. It can also be used in networked VISA ATMs of any Bank in India and abroad. The card has wide acceptability - over 2,49,000 merchant establishments in India and 25.17 million globally.

    Vijaya Bank RuPay Platinum Debit Cards

    RUPAY Platinum Debit Card is a Personalized Chip based Debit Card with enhanced security features. It is valid only for Domestic Usage only. It will be packed and delivered to the branch in a separate kit containing the Debit Card, User Guidelines Booklet, Pouch, Pin-mailer and Leaflet. Name of the Card Holder, A/c Number and Card Number will be printed on the back side of the kit.

    VISA Platinum Debit Card is a Personalized Chip based Debit Card with enhanced security features. It is valid for both Domestic and International Usage. It will be packed and delivered to the branch in a separate kit containing the Debit Card, User Guidelines Booklet, Pouch, Pin-mailer and Leaflet. Name of the Card Holder, A/c Number and Card Number will be printed on the back side of the kit.

    Vijaya Bank Rupay Kisan Card

    Rupay Kisan Card is an ATM enabled Kisan Debit card is issued to the customers having Vijaya Kisan Card account with Vijaya Bank and is linked to VKC account of the customer. The ATM enabled Kisan Debit Card is specially designed non-photo card launched in association with Rupay a Domestic payment branch promoted by NPCI. This card is issued free of charge and is valid for 5 years.

    Vijaya Bank Rupay Aaadhar Card

    Rupay Aaadhar Card is specially designed as a non-photo card launched in association with Rupay a Domestic payment brand promoted by NPCI. The Debit card is prepared in such a way that it can be linked with the Aaadhar number of the card holder so that future card authorization can be based on the bio metric data stored with the Aaadhar Authority in place of the PIN , which is presently being used as key to authorize the ATM and POS usage.
