How to Transfer Money from Your Bank to Any Bank Account Using Paytm?

Founded in Aug 2010, Paytm is an e-commerce payment system and digital wallet company in India. It offers online facilities like mobile recharges, utility bill payments, travel booking, movies tickets booking, merchant payments, and many more.

Paytm has recently launched a new feature on Paytm platform which facilitates users to transfer money from their banks to any other bank account using Paytm without charging any fee.

Following is given a step by step process to transfer your money from your bank to any bank account using Paytm:

Step 1: Open Paytm App and Select Bank Transfer

Open Paytm App and tap on 'Bank Transfer' icon on the top panel just next to the 'Pay' icon.

Step 2: Now link your bank account with Paytm

You are now required to link your bank account with your Paytm and enter the bank name and bank account number. You will need to enter your registered mobile number with Paytm and Bank here and verify the same for linking your bank account with Paytm. After successful linking of your bank account with Paytm, the message "Account link successful" will appear on your mobile screen. You don't need to update your eKYC details here.

Step 3: Enter the Bank Details of the Recipient

After linking of your bank account with Paytm, you now need to enter the bank details such as Bank Account Number, IFS Code and Bank Name of the recipient.

Step 4: Enter the Amount to be Transferred

You have to enter the amount which you wish to transfer to the recipient's bank account and click on "Proceed" button.

Step 5: Get Message of Money Transfer

After transfer of money to the recipient's account, you will get an alert message on your mobile saying "Money Transfer Successful".
