How Does UBI FASTag Works?

  1. Affix UBI FASTag on the windscreen of vehicle
  2. Keep necessary balance in UBI FASTag linked account/ wallet
  3. You should pass through the FASTag lanes available in toll plazas
  4. UBI FASTag is read by the tag reader at the plaza and the toll amount is deducted automatically, when the vehicle approaches the toll plaza

  2. Passport size photograph of the vehicle owner
  3. KYC documents as per the category of the vehicle owner
  4. ID Proof and Address Proof as per the category of the vehicle owner from the list given below:
    • Sole-Proprietor
      1. Entity proof: Shop Establishment Certificate / GSTN Certificate / Electricity Bill/any other proof acceptable to bank
      2. ISA (Identity, Signature & Address) of Proprietor: Aadhaar(not mandatory)& Pan Card
      3. GST Registration Certificate required as per limit set by the GOI
    • Partnership
      1. Partnership Deed
      2. PAN Card (Mandatory)
      3. List of Partners along with capital/profit percentage (to be signed by all partners)
      4. ISA of all the partners

    • Limited Liability Partnerships

How to Buy UBI FASTag?

  1. Visit any of the Point of Sale (POS) locations/ Union Bank of India branches
  2. Get your tag account created
  3. If you are not a customer of Union Bank of India, you need to carry original as well as copy of your KYC document along with your vehicle at the POS/ Sales office location

How to Recharge UBI FASTag?

You can get FASTag recharged through cash/cheque. This facility is available in selected point of sales (POS) locations at Toll Plazas and State Bank of India branches. Outlined below is the step-by-step process of offline recharge of UBI FASTag:

  1. You need to visit any of the UBI branches or Point of Sales (POS) locations
  2. First of all you need to get your UBI FASTag account created
  3. You can deposit cash or cheque of the amount which you want for recharging UBI FASTag
  4. Then your UBI FASTag linked wallet will be recharged with the same amount

How to Recharge UBI FASTag Online?

You may recharge your UBI FASTag account by making payment through Credit Card/ Debit Card or Internet Banking.

  1. Click on the link of UBI FASTag URL
  2. Enter your User ID and Password
  3. Now you are logged in to your account
  4. Click on "Reload"
  5. Enter the reload amount
  6. Click on "Submit" button
  7. Select Payment Mode: Pay by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking
  8. Click on Make payment
  9. Click on the cards or Internet Banking as per requirement.
  10. For Credit Card/ Debit Card transactions: Enter 16-digit card number, expiry date, CVV and then authenticate with OTP
  11. For Internet Banking options: Enter respective bank�s User ID, Password > Authenticate with OTP and then follow the steps
