Bank of India offers 'StarToken' platform for BOI net banking for all online banking needs. After the customer activates StarToken on his computer, he is not allowed to access the Bank of India netbanking account from his computer. He will need to access the netbanking account only via StarToken. StarToken PIN is the unique 4-digit PIN that is used by the customers in order to log into StarToken for internet banking.

Now Customers do not need to visit the bank instead they can carry out any banking transaction online from anywhere at their convenience. In that way the customers can easily access various banking facilities at their fingertips.

Pre-requisites for BOI net banking Registration

  • Mobile Number : You should have your mobile number registered with your bank account to complete the online net banking registration process
  • Internet Connection: For BOI net banking Registration via online method, you should have an internet connection
  • ATM Card : You need to have an active ATM/ debit Card

Register for Bank of India Internet Banking through Online Method

  • Go to Bank of India's retail internet banking URL
  • Go to Login page
  • Click on 'New user' option
  • Enter your details such as mobile number, account number, user id, etc. in the given fields
  • Click on 'Submit' button
  • An OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number
  • Enter this OTP in the given box
  • Set login password and transaction password
  • Re-enter them in order to confirm
  • Passwords will be successfully set
  • Now you can use your user id and login password to login your net banking account

Register for Bank of India Internet Banking through Offline Method

  • Go to Bank of India's branch to obtain the Internet Banking application form
  • Duly fill up the form by writing down all the details in the form correctly
  • Submit the form in the home branch of Bank of India where your account is maintained
  • After receiving your form for registration for netbanking, the bank will start its processing
  • On processing it, you will be sent the login password and the transaction password to your registered address
  • Now you can activate your net banking facility using your user id and login password

Activation of StarToken

  • Go to Bank of India's retail internet banking URL
  • Login using your login credentials
  • You will be taken StarToken-NG window
  • In order to download StarToken on your computer, click on 'Download Now'
  • StarToken Installer will be downloaded on your computer
  • Double click on StarToken installer to install it on the computer
  • Click on 'Run' to proceed further
  • After installation, StarToken shortcut will appear on the desktop
  • Open the StarToken application by clicking on StarToken shortcut
  • Click on Login
  • Enter the userID
  • Click on 'Submit' button
  • Ensure that the verification key displayed in the activation window is same as the verification key received from the bank
  • If the verification keys match, select the 'Verification key is correct' option
  • Type the Activation Code
  • Click on 'Submit' button
  • Now set up Security Question and Answer
  • Click on 'Submit' button
  • Set 4-digit StarToken PIN
  • Re-enter 4-digit StarToken PIN to confirm
  • Click on 'Submit' button
  • StarToken is ready to be used

Fund Transfer via Bank of India Net Banking

  • Go to Bank of India Website
  • On the top right hand side, click on 'Retail' under Internet Banking
  • Enter the User ID, password and captcha
  • Click on 'Submit'
  • You will be logged in to your netbanking account
  • In the menu, click on 'Transfer' option
  • Click on 'IMPS Payment' option
  • There will be 3 options available on the screen i.e. Add Beneficiary, View/Delete Beneficiary and Make a Payment
  • Selecy 'Make a Payment' option
  • Under the 'Beneficiary Nickname' drop-down menu, choose the beneficiary's name to whom you want to transfer the funds
  • Click on 'Pay' button
  • Enter User ID and transaction password
  • Click on 'Pay' button
  • The payment will be made
