How to Change Address on RC?

The owner can apply for recording a change of residence address of registered owner in the certificate of registration of the vehicle. The owner should apply for recording the change in residence within 14 days of the address change.

1. Apply in Form 33 for change of residence address
2. Pay appropriate fee as specified in rule 81 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989
3. Attach all the required documents (as mentioned below) with Form 33

3. No Objection Certificate from financier (in case of hypothecation)
4. Signature Identification of owner
5. Proof of payment of vehicle tax up-to-date

9. Smart card fee
10. Copy of PAN card of Form 60 and Form 61 (as applicable), if required
