It is necessary to register your vehicle in the RTO/ State where you want to drive the vehicle even if you have brought it from another state.

How to Register Vehicle Brought from Other State?

Mentioned below is the step-by-step process to register vehicle brought from other state:

  1. An application in Form-FT and Form No. 27
  2. Imprint of Chassis Number
  3. Original R.C. Book
  4. NOC in Form 28
  5. Proof of Address
  6. Valid insurance certificate
  7. Valid PUC Certificate
  8. Form 29 and 30 or 33 (for change in ownership and address)

In case, you bring the vehicle in the state permanently then the declaration in Form FT should be made within a period of 7 days. It is also mandatory to produce the vehicle physically for inspection.
