How to do SBI ATM Card Usage Control at ATM, PoS, E-Commerce, International Usage through SMS?

SBI offers you the facility to do SBI ATM Card Usage Control at ATM, PoS and International Usage through SMS. For controlling the ATM card usage, you are required to follow step by step process of controlling SBI ATM card usage through SMS as outlined below:

• Send an SMS in the below mentioned format
• SWON/SWOFF ATM/POS/ECOM/INTL/DOM <last 4 digits of ATM Card number>
• SMS to be sent to 09223966666
• Example (1): If last 4 digits of your ATM Card number are 1111 then you need to SMS <SWON ECOM 1111> to 09223966666 for activating E-Commerce usage on your ATM card
• Example (2): If last 4 digits of your ATM Card number are 2222 then you need to SMS <SWOFF INTL 2222> to 09223966666
for de-activating international usage on your ATM card

Important Note for controlling SBI ATM Card through SMS Banking

• You need to send SMS from your SBI registered mobile number only for controlling SBI ATM card usage
• If your old mobile number is still registered with bank which is no longer being used, you need to get your existing mobile number updated with SBI before sending the SMS for controlling SBI ATM card usage
• If your mobile number is not registered with SBI, first get it registered before sending the SMS for controlling SBI ATM card usage

Charges of Using SBI SMS Banking Service

1. Premium charges will be levied, if the SMS is sent on 6 digit number i.e. 567676
2. For 10 digit numbers , the customer will be charged as per his mobile bill plan
