Karnataka Bank Limited Current Account Document Required

For HUF (Hindu Undivided Family)

  1. HUF Deed (If available)
  2. PAN in the name of HUF
  3. HUF Declaration duly signed by all adult Co-parceners and naming the Karta, who would be authorized to operate the account
  4. In case of Minor Co-parceners proof of Date of Birth
  5. Any applicable documents which confirms Name & Address of the HUF
  6. Identity proof of Karta & authorized signatory
  7. No objection certificate (if the firm is enjoying credit facility from any other bank (s)), with tracer for a fortnight for response from the other bank

For Sole Proprietorship

  1. Application in the Banks' prescribed form to open account - Sole proprietor
  2. Identity proof for the proprietor
  3. Address proof for the proprietor
  4. PAN Card of the proprietor
  5. Any two documents issued by Government authorities in the name of the proprietary firm, such as
    • Registration certificate (in the case of a registered concern)
    • Certificate/licence issued by the Municipal authorities under Shop & Establishment Act
    • Sales and income tax returns
    • CST/VAT certificate
    • Certificate/registration document issued by Sales Tax/Service Tax/Professional Tax authorities

For Partnership Firm

  1. Application of account opening in the Bank's prescribed form
  2. Registration Certificate, if the firm is registered.
  3. Partnership Deed.
  4. Power of Attorney granted to a partner of an employee of the firm to transact business on its behalf.
  5. Attach Proof to identify and proof of address of the main partners.
  6. Attach Proof of Legal name, telephone number of the firm and partners apart from the above.
  7. All partners' consent through a partnership letter to open an account with the Bank.

For Private Limited Companies

  1. Memorandum and Articles of association duly certified to be correct and up-to-date.
  2. Copy of the certificate of incorporation.
  3. Copy of the certificate of commencement of Business in case of Public Limited Companies.
  4. Balance Sheet for the last THREE Years.
  5. True extracts of Resolutions duly certified by the Chairman, counter-signed by the secretary or any other Authorised Officer:
    • Authorising to apply for / to raise accommodation.
    • Authorising persons to execute required loan documents and to operate upon accounts.
    • Authorising the company to offer the securities to secure the accommodation.
  6. Latest list of Directors.

For Public Limited Companies

  1. Memorandum and Articles of association duly certified to be correct and up-to-date.
  2. Copy of the certificate of incorporation.
  3. Copy of the certificate of commencement of Business in case of Public Limited Companies.
  4. Balance Sheet for the last THREE Years.
  5. True extracts of Resolutions duly certified by the Chairman, counter-signed by the secretary or any other Authorised Officer:
    • Authorising to apply for / to raise accommodation.
    • Authorising persons to execute required loan documents and to operate upon accounts.
    • Authorising the company to offer the securities to secure the accommodation.
  6. Latest list of Directors.

For Clubs/Societies

  1. Certificate of Registration, if registered.
  2. Power of Attorney granted to transact business on its behalf, if any.
  3. Any document listing out the names and addresses of the trustees, sellers, beneficiaries, and those holding power of Attorney, and other key officials involved in the day to day management of the trust to the satisfaction of the bank.
  4. Resolution of the managing body of the foundation.
  5. Declaration of Trust/Bye Law of society/Bye-law of Association/Bye-law of club.
  6. Attach the Proof of name and address of the founder, Manager/director and the beneficiaries, telephone/fax number, Telephone bill, Utility bill apart from the above.
  7. Copy of Trust Deed/ Constitutions Documents.
  8. Certificate from Charity Commissioner, in case of registered trust.

For Trusts

  1. Certificate of Registration, if registered.
  2. Power of Attorney granted to transact business on its behalf, if any.
  3. Any document listing out the names and addresses of the trustees, sellers, beneficiaries, and those holding power of Attorney, and other key officials involved in the day to day management of the trust to the satisfaction of the bank.
  4. Resolution of the managing body of the foundation.
  5. Declaration of Trust/Bye Law of society/Bye-law of Association/Bye-law of club.
  6. Attach the Proof of name and address of the founder, Manager/director and the beneficiaries, telephone/fax number, Telephone bill, Utility bill apart from the above.

For Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP)

  1. Duly filled Application Form for opening of Account.
  2. Certificate of Registration issued by Registrar of Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)
  3. Proof of Address of the entity
  4. Permanent Account Number (PAN)
  5. Latest colour passport size photograph of each of the existing authorised signatories
  6. A copy of one valid photo identification and address proof document of each of the existing authorized signatories
  7. In case Power of Attorney (POA) has been granted for Account operations, photograph and identity and address proof of the POA holder should also be submitted
  8. Shareholding pattern / List of beneficial owners holding more than 25% in the company (Directly / Indirectly)(on letterhead)
  9. Permanent Account Number (PAN) / Identity proof of such beneficial owners as identified above
  10. Address proof of beneficial owners as identified above
  11. Latest phone/mobile number and e-mail id of LLP
