Vijaya Bank Global Debit Cum Atm Card Overview
Vijaya Global Debit Cum ATM Card is the VISA International Debit Card issued by our Bank to its account holders for using it at Merchant Establishments and at Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). The Vijaya Global Debit cum ATM card has been launched in association with VISA International. The Vijaya Global Debit cum ATM card can be used at all Vijaya Bank ATMs. It can also be used in networked VISA ATMs of any Bank in India and abroad. The card has wide acceptability - over 2,49,000 merchant establishments in India and 25.17 million globally.
Vijaya Bank Global Debit Cum Atm Card Features
- Vijaya Global Debit cum ATM Card is valid for use at our Bank's ATMs, other Bank's VISA ATMs and merchant establishments in India and abroad
- Vijaya Global Debit cum ATM Card is not valid for payment in foreign exchange at merchant establishments in India, Nepal & Bhutan
- The validity of the card shall be five years from the last day of the month in which the card is issued
- Debit card is allowed for usage in Internet for websites where Verified by VISA/RuPay Paysecure authentication is mandatory

Vijaya Bank Global Debit Cum Atm Card Eligibility
- Individuals: All adult Individuals maintaining an operative Savings Bank account (including NRE accounts) or Current account with satisfactory operations with any one of our branches. In case of current accounts in the name of proprietor ship concerns, the debit cards will be issued in the personal name of the proprietor
- Joint accounts: For joint accounts with operation by any one or survivors, debit card can be issued to any one or more or all the joint account holders who are authorized to operate the account individually. Where the debit cards have to be issued for joint account holders, apart from the applicant's signature the signature of the other joint account holders should be obtained on the debit card application

- Charges for issuance of Card : Rs. 150/- plus applicable taxes
- Second Year Onwards Annual Fee: Rs. 100/- plus applicable taxes
- Regeneration of PIN: Rs 50/- plus applicable taxes
- Replacement/Re-issue of Lost/Damaged Card: Rs 150/- plus applicable taxes
- Cancellation charges (if cancelled during first year of card issuance): Rs. 100/- plus applicable taxes
- Hotlisting charges: Rs 50/- plus applicable taxes
- Mark Up Charges for each POSP transaction at Petrol Pumps: 2.5% + GST
- Mark Up Charges for each POSP transaction at Railway Bookings: 2.5% + GST

Vijaya Bank Global Debit Cum Atm Card How to Apply
- Contact your Branch.
- If you don't have saving or Current Account, first open your account.
- Get the Debit Card Application form from the Branch, fill it up and submit it to your Branch.
- You will receive your Insta Debit Card & PIN (Personal Identification Number) at the time of submission of the application form.
- In case of named Debit Card, the card will be delivered to the customer's residential address. The PIN will have to be collected from the respective Branch.
- The customer has to activate the Insta Debit card after 24 hours from the receipt of the card by withdrawing cash from Dena Bank ATM.

Contactless debit card is a sensor embedded new age debit card that works on Near Field Communication (NFC) Technology using Radio Transmission to ascertain contact when the card is brought near a terminal. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has asked all banks in the country to replace magnetic-strip debit/ credit cards with EMV-chip based cards by 31 December 2018 as magnetic cards are quite vulnerable to skimming. Banks have already replaced the existing magnetic strip debit/ credit cards with latest EMV chip cards. Banks will provide it free of cost.
