Indane Gas Connection Transfer Procedure

There may occur needs to transfer Indane Gas in any of the following situatuions:

1. Transfer within the same city
2. Transfer to a different city
3. Transfer to any other family member of the connection holder
4. Transfer to any other family member after the death of the connection holder

How to Transfer Indane Gas Connection within the Same City Procedure?

1. Visit your distributor along with the Subscription Voucher (SV)
2. Inform him about change in the address
3. Submit Subscription Voucher (SV) to him
4. If area of your new address comes under his area of operation, he will effect the change in his records and your future supplies shall then be sent to your new place of residence. You are not required to do anything else in this case
5. If area of your new address does not come under his area of operation, he will issue a Transfer Termination Voucher (TTV) with your new address
6. Visit any distributor operating near your new residence, along with the following documents:
   • Transfer Termination Voucher (TTV)
   • Domestic Gas Consumer Card (DGCC) booklet
   • Proof of new address
7. New distributor will process the Transfer Termination Voucher (TTV) into a new Transfer Subscription Voucher (TSV)
8. You will also be alloted a new consumer number by him
9. You will also receive a new Domestic Gas Consumer Card (DGCC) booklet, in which your new address and consumer number is updated

How to Transfer Indane Gas Connection to a Different City Procedure?

1. Visit your distributor along with the Subscription Voucher (SV) and all the Indane gas equipments viz. cylinder and pressure regulator
2. Inform him about your being transfer to new city
3. Your distributor will collect all these items and log them
4. He will then issue a Termination Voucher (TV) with your new address
5. He will also refund you the deposit
6. Then you will get updated about the Indane distributor operating in your residential area in your new city by the service agent of Indane
7. Visit any distributor operating near your new residence, along with the following documents:
   • Termination Voucher (TV)
   • Domestic Gas Consumer Card (DGCC) booklet
   • Proof of new address
8. New distributor will process the Termination Voucher (TV) into a new Subscription Voucher (TSV)
9. Your new distributor will hand over you a new cylinder and pressure regulator under your new consumer number

How to Transfer Indane Gas to any other Family Member of the Connection Holder?

1. Visit your distributor along with the Subscription Voucher (SV) and KYC documents of the tranferee (in whose name, the connection is to be transferred)
2. Submit an affidavit to transfer the gas connection so that name of transferee can be registered in Subscription Voucher (SV)
3. A declaration from the transferee needs to be submitted to the distributor stating the transfer of the connection
4. After due verification, your distributor will make the Subscription Voucher (SV) in the name of the transferee

How to Transfer Indane Gas to any other family member after the death of the connection holder?

1. Visit your distributor along with the Subscription Voucher (SV), KYC documents of the tranferee (in whose name, the connection is to be transferred) and a copy of the death certificate of the deceased owner
2. A declaration from the transferee needs to be submitted to the distributor stating the transfer of the connection
3. After due verification, your distributor will make the Subscription Voucher (SV) in the name of the transferee
