New connection of Indane gas can be availed and issued to the customer online under the Digital India Initiative through Sahaj w.e.f. May 1, 2015.

1. You need to post online request for a new LPG connection by filing Know Your Customer (KYC) form by uploading bank account details and photographs
2. KYC documents will be verified
3. Waitlist will be released by the distributor on successful verification of KYC details
4. You will be communicated through email and SMS to proceed and make payment for connection as well as select instruments
5. There are 2 modes of payment i.e. Online or Offline. For online payment, you can pay using credit card/ debit card or netbanking. For offline payment, you need to visit your distributor and make the payment
6. Home delivery of gas cylinders and select instruments will be made
7. e-SV will be sent to you through email and SMS

Step by Step Process to Apply for New Connection of Indane Gas Online Through SAHAJ (e-SV)?

You need to follow below mentioned step by step process to apply for New Connection of Indane Gas Through SAHAJ Online:

1. Visit New Connection under SAHAJ
2. Click on 'Register for a online New Connection' button

3. Now, you are required to fill up the application form mentioning the details given below:
   • Your State
   • Your District
   • Your Distributor
   • Your Full Name
   • Your Date of Birth (DOB)
   • Email Id
   • Mobile Number
   • Security Code (Captcha)
4. After that click on "Submit" button.
5. Your application will be submitted.
6. You need to upload the copies of KYC documents i.e. Passport Size Coloured Photograph, proof of identity and proof of address. The scan copy of the above documents to be kept available in jpeg or pdf format for uploading.
7. You need to make a payment for new connection online.
8. There are 2 modes of payment i.e. Online or Offline
9. For online payment, you can pay using credit card/ debit card or netbanking
10. For offline payment, you need to visit your distributor and make the payment
11. Distributor will prepare Subscription Voucher (SV) based on the confirmation of payment receipt. It normally takes 3 working days for transfer of funds to distributors account.
12. Once Subscription Voucher (SV) id prepared, SAHAJ (e-SV) in PDF form will be mailed to you on your registered email id.
13. Home delivery of gas cylinders and select instruments will be made
14. At the time of cylinder delivery distributor will check the scan copies with originals and will do the address verification with POA submitted. Physical copy of the Subscription Voucher (SV) will also be handed over to customer by taking the signatures.

Cancellation of Application of New Connection of Indane Gas Online

Customer can cancel the Application for New Connection of Indane Gas Online. For this purpose, there is an online provision to cancel his request for new connection.

However, if cancellation is opted by the prospective customer after making the payment, he/ she shall have to contact distributor for getting the refund manually.
