Aadhaar Card, 12-digit biometric Unique Identification Card, is a government-issued document which gives you a unique identification of being an Indian citizen. Further, any biometric update can be done at the banks centres at a cost of Rs.50 per update. These updates include Facial photograph and Finger print.

You can check the status of aadhaar biometrics by logging in to your account through the mAadhaar app.You can also check it by visiting UIDAI's website and login to your account using your aadhaar and OTP.

It is important to remember that you should always carry original supporting documents to the centre while enrolling for aadhaar or updating your aadhaar details. All such documents will be verified at the Centre.
