In order to reduce vehicular traffic and congestion on national highways, the NHAI & IHMCL authorized the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to provide a contactless solution for toll collection. This contactless solution is known as "FASTag" which allows vehicles to pass through the toll booth hassle-free without stopping.

Bank of Baroda offers Baroda FASTag to its customers and you can apply online to open a Baroda FASTag prepaid account in no-time.

Fees and Charges of Bank of Baroda FASTag

(1) Tag Joining Fee: Rs. 100 (including GST)

(2) Reissuance Fee: Rs. 100 (including GST)

(3) One-time Tag Deposit Amount (as per table below)

Note: Threshold amount is the minimum recharge amount to be done at the time of tag activation

(5) Closure Fee:Rs. 100 (including GST)

(6) Convenience Fee

Convenience fee will be applicable for online recharge.

How to Buy Bank of Baroda FASTag Online?

1. Visit https://fastag.bankofbaroda.com/Pages/CreateAccount/CreateAccount.aspx
2. Select in the form which type of FASTag account you are applying for from "Individual" and "Corporate"
3. Fill in all the details in the form such as first name, last name, gender, date of birth, BOB bank account number, etc.
4. After filling in the first form, click on "next" button
5. You will be taken to "contact" form where you will enter your contact details such as your phone number and the address on which you want to receive Bank of Baroda FASTag
6. After entering details, click on "next" button
7. You will be taken to "GST details" form where you need to enter GST details, if any
8. After entering details, click on "next" button
9. Now add the vehicle details for which you are applying the Bank of Baroda FASTag
10. After entering details, click on "next" button
11. Next form will be to make payment for buying FASTag. Baroda FASTag has a one-time issuance fee of Rs. 100, which is inclusive of the applicable tax of Rs. 84.74 + GST
12. Make applicable payment
13. After successful payment, you will be sent Bank of Baroda FASTag on your address
14. You need to affix the tag, add funds to the prepaid account and then you are ready to travel cashless across India's national highways

Documents Required for Bank of Baroda FASTag

You need to submit the following documents to apply for Bank of Baroda FASTag:

1. Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle
2. FASTag Application form
3. Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID Card/Passport
4. One passport size photograph of the vehicle owner

How to Register for Baroda FASTag using Online Portal?

Given below is the process to complete your Baroda FASTag registration:

1. Login to the FASTag portal link
2. Click on "First Time User" or "Register New User"
3. Enter your personal details such as mobile number, vehicle type, registration number, etc.
4. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number to authenticate your identity
5. Enter OTP in the space provided
6. On a successful verification, you will be asked to generate your password
7. Generate new password
