- Visit the official web portal of the state/Union Territories road transport department
- Press the "Link Aadhaar" button appearing on the computer screen
- Click on the drop down menu and select "Driving Licence" option from it
- Enter your driving Licence number
- Click on the "Get Details" tab
- After that the details of your driving Licence will appear on the screen
- Below these details, 2 boxes will appear to enter "Aadhaar Number" and "Mobile Number"
- Enter your 12-digit "Aadhaar Number" and "Mobile Number" registered with Aadhaar in the given boxes
- Click on the "Submit" button
- After that you will receive an One-Time Password (OTP) on your Aadhaar-registered mobile number for verification
- Enter the OTP to complete the process of linking Aadhar with driving licence and then click to confirm
- Transport officials will verify the details submitted by you
- After a successful verification, you will receive a confirmation message on your mobile number as well as on your email Id
