How to Link Aadhaar with IRCTC Account?

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is a subsidiary of the Indian Railways through which you can book online tickets of the Indian railways. A single user is allowed to book up to 6 train tickets every month via IRCTC e-ticketing website but if he wants to book more tickets then he will need to link his Aadhaar with IRCTC account. After linking the aadhaar with his IRCTC account, he can book up to 12 tickets every month.

Steps to Link Aadhaar with IRCTC Account

Outlined below are the steps to be taken by you in order to Link Aadhaar with IRCTC Account:

1. Visit IRCTC official web portal www.irctc.co.in
2. Enter your user id and password
3. Click on "My Profile" Tab
4. Click on "Aadhaar KYC"
5. Key in your 12-digit Aadhaar Number in the given box
6. Press "Send OTP" button. Then OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar registered mobile number
7. Enter the OTP
8. Click on "Verify" button
9. Your Aadhaar details will appear on the page having a disclaimer
10. Once check your all details and then tick on disclaimer check box
11. click on "Update" button
12. After that your Aadhaar Card will be linked with IRCTC Account

To check Aadhaar KYC status, click on "My Account" tab on IRCTC e-ticketing website and select the "Link Your Aadhaar" option. It will show you the Aadhaar KYC status.
