What is Lucky Grahak Yojana?

Government of India has started its movement to develop India as a cashless economy. For making this step successful, it requires full participation from all the countrymen. To increase this participation for making digital transactions by majority of citizens, government has come up with a scheme called "Lucky Grahak Yojana" for the period from 25/12/2016 to 14/04/2017. The main motto behind the scheme is to award people for using cashless means of payment.


The details of the scheme is given below:

Scheme launched by: NITI Aayog & National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI)
Who can participate: Consumers in India
How the winner be selected: Randomly via the transaction id
What is the transaction amount: Any transaction amounting between Rs 50 to Rs 5,000
Start Date: 25 December 2016
Close Date: 14 April 2017
Valid modes of payment: Rupay Debit Cards (Rupay Cards), Phone Based Payment System using *99# (USSD), Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and Aadhaar Enabled Payment System(AEPS)
Daily Prize: Everyday 15,000 people get Rs 1000
Weekly Prize: Every week 7000 people get Rs 5000, Rs 1000 or Rs 1,00,000

Mega Prize:
First prize: Rs 1 Crore
Second prize: Rs 50 Lacs
Third prize: Rs 25 Lacs

Mega prize draw date: 14 April 2017, on the occasion of the birthday of the Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedakar

Rules / conditions

  1. Transaction between Rs 50 and Rs 5000 is considered. More or less amount will not be considered.
  2. Payment through credit card or E-wallet not be considered.
  3. B2B exchange is not considered.

Visit https://digidhanlucky.mygov.in/ (on entering registered mobile number and then either transaction-id & date (for Rupay card) or Adhar number(for AEPS) or VPA(for UPI) or Mobile number (for UPPS))
