After marriage the name, surname and address of the wife change. She is required to get these details changed on the PAN card also. In order to get all of them updated on the PAN card, she needs to fill up the PAN updation form.

Which Form needs to be filled to Change PAN Card Details after Marriage?
You are required to submit the application in the form "Request for New PAN Card or/ and Changes or Correction in PAN data" in the following cases:
- When you already have PAN but want a new PAN card
- When you want to make some changes or corrections in your existing PAN details like changes on PAN details after marriage

Fees to Change PAN Card Details after Marriage
- If the changed PAN is to be sent within India, then the fee for processing PAN application is Rs. 110 ( 93 +18% GST)
- If the changed PAN is to be sent outside India, then the fee for processing PAN application is Rs. 1020 [(Application fee Rs. 93.00 + Postal Charges Rs. 771.00) +18% Goods And Service Tax]

Document Required to Change PAN Card Details after Marriage
Following documents are to be submitted along with the form:
- Proof of PAN (the one currently in use: mentioned at the top of the application), if available
- Two recent colour photographs with white background (size 3.5 cm x 2.5 cm)
- Proof of Identity
- Proof of Address
- Proof of Date of Birth (for Individual and Karta of HUF)
- Any one of the following
- Marriage certificate
- Marriage invitation card
- Publication of name change in official gazette
- Copy of passport showing husband's name
- Certificate from a gazetted officer
- Proof of PAN(s) surrendered, if any

How to Change PAN Card Details after Marriage?
- First of all, go through the instructions given on the page "https://www.tin-nsdl.com/services/pan/instructions-change.html"
- Visit the TIN NDSL website through the link https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html
- Select option "Changes or correction in existing PAN Data / Reprint of PAN Card (No changes in existing PAN data)" available on the homepage
- Fill up the application form with correct details
- Check the left side column on the application form where change is required
- Review the information entered by you once again
- Click on Submit button
- Now you will be taken to the payment gateway so that you can pay the fee by net banking/ card
- After the successful payment of required fees made by you, an auto generated acknowledgement with a 15 digit number is generated and will appear on the screen
- Print the acknowledgement copy
- Paste 2 photographs in the spaces provided on the acknowledgement copy
- Sign at the required space on the acknowledgement copy
- Attach the required documents, if you have not already uploaded them
- If you have not paid through net-banking/credit card, you need to attach the cheque/ Demand Draft (DD) of the fee amount
- Send the acknowledgement along with the attached documents to the address mentioned on the acknowledgement copy
- The PAN card will be sent to the address mentioned on the form by post
- It takes a maximum period of 21 working days to receive the PAN Card from receipt of the acknowledgement by the department
