Step by step Change Details on PAN Card using UMANG App

1. First you must have UMANG app installed on your mobile. Then you can apply for a new PAN card application form via Umang app, using Form 49A.
2. If you do not have UMANG app on your mobile then you can find the UMANG app on your Play Store (android) or the App Store (iOS).
3. Download the UMANG app and install the same on your mobile. It is to be kept in mind that your mobile number should be registered with Aadhaar to avail the e-KYC and e-sign service.
4. Go to 'All Services' and search for My PAN option.
5. Click on 'Correction/Change in PAN Card (CSF)'
6. Select 'e-KYC'.
7. After selecting 'e-KYC', read the guidelines and press proceed button.
8. Fill in your personal details as required by the app, especially ones that need correction.
9. You can choose Aadhaar as your proof of residence, identity and the same picture for the PAN card display.
10. On completion of the e-KYC and e-sign, it will ask to pay the necessary fee.
11. You can pay this fee online using credit card, debit card or net banking.
12. On successful payment, your PAN application will be processed.
13. You can also track the movement of your PAN Card using the 'PAN Query' option on My PAN.
