- Proof of Identity: (Anyone) Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Photo identity card issued by the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU)
- Proof of Address: (Anyone) Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Passport of the spouse, Latest property tax assessment order, Domicile certificate issued by the Government, Pension payment order
- Proof of Date of Birth: (Anyone) Matriculation certificate or Mark sheet of recognized board, Birth certificate issued by the municipal authority, Domicile certificate issued by the Government, Pension payment order, Marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriages
(2) For Individuals & HUF Foreign Citizen (Having office of their own in India) located within / outside India at the time of application for PAN
- Proof of Identity: (Anyone) Passport, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card issued by Government of India, Copy of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card issued by Government of India
- Proof of Address (Proof should contain the address mentioned in the PAN application form): (Anyone) Passport, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card issued by Government of India, Copy of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card issued by Government of India, Copy of Registration certificate issued by the Foreigner's Registration Office showing Indian address, Bank account statement in the country of residence
(3) For Individuals & HUF Foreign Citizen (Having no owned office in India) located within / outside India at the time of application for PAN
